Though Mister Rogers was clearly a vegetarian, it has been rumored that he may have had a passion for eating rodent meat.
The concept of Lady Elaine eating several rat steaks in at least one episode interested him. In the end he was informed that it may scare the children too much, and the idea was dropped after several script edits.
